Zee Entertainment Enterprises

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL) is an Indian media and entertainment company based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It is a subsidiary of the Essel Group. The company's founder and managing director is Subhash Chandra and its current CEO, Puneet Goenka. The Company has 35 channels serving Indian content across India and 169 countries.

History

The company was launched on 15 December 1991 and was previously known as Zee Telefilms until 2006, when it was renamed and the news and entertainment units were spun off into four smaller divisions. ZEEL currently operates over 15 different television channels, a cable company Siti Cable, a record label Zee Music Company, a production company and other businesses as well. It has expanded operations abroad, with several of its channels available in the UK and US as well as Africa and Asia.

In 2002 ZEEL acquired a majority stake (51%) in ETC Networks. In 2006, they acquired Integrated Subscriber Management Services Limited and in November 2006, ZEEL acquired an interest (50%) in Taj television TEN Sports.

Pictures is an album by American jazz drummer, keyboardist and composer Jack DeJohnette recorded in 1976 and released on the ECM label. DeJohnette plays drums and keyboards on all tracks and is joined by John Abercrombie on three compositions.

A farmer (also called an agriculturer) is a person engaged in agriculture, raising living organisms for food or raw materials. The term usually applies to people who do some combination of raising field crops, orchards, vineyards, poultry, or other livestock. Farming has been dated back as far as the Neolithic era. By the Bronze Age, the Sumerians had an agriculture specialized labour force by 5000–4000 BCE, and heavily depended on irrigation to grow crops. While in the past players used eBay and PayPal to sell each other items and gold from games like Ultima Online and Lineage, contemporary, commercialized gold farming may have its origins in South Korea. 2001 reports describe Korean cybercafes being converted into gold farming operations to serve domestic demand. This model, with full-time gold farmers working long hours in cybercafes, was outsourced to China and initially served demand from Korean and Western players. Gold farming in China was experiencing swift growth c. 2004. In 2011 The Guardian reported that prisoners in Chinese labor camps were forced to engage in gold farming for the benefit of prison authorities.
